60 Down, 30 To Go!
I can't believe I have already reached day 60 of this journey. It has been such an easy road that it seems like I just started. Normally when I try to change my eating habits or diet, I am so burnt out after a couple weeks that I just give up but with this program it has been a breeze and I have seen great results that it makes it seem like I started just a few weeks ago.
I will admit that I am not overjoyed with my 60 day results but I have no one to blame but myself because I was really lazy these past 30 days and ate some really bad meals that I should have stayed away from but the great thing is that even though I "cheated" on my program, I didn't gain all my loss back like I would have on other programs I've tried. I maintained and continued to lose both weight and size. During my second 30 days, I reached my lowest weight twice when I lost 15 pounds and when I lost 15.6 pounds! I did gain a couple pounds back on Friday so my 60 day results were:
Total loss: 14.2 pounds
Chest: 41.5 (-1.5 inches)
Hips: 46 (-3 inches!)
Waist: 46 (-3.5 inches!!)
They are still great numbers and I posted my before and after pictures on Facebook yesterday and will include them at the bottom here in case you don't have Facebook. I see a difference but I am really motivated these final 30 days to hopefully lose another 15 pounds. I plan on getting my 2+ miles in EVERY day and really sticking to healthy meals and my shakes. I think if I stick to it like I did the first 30 days and maybe even better than I did that month, I should have pretty good success. This weekend I am a little nervous because I will be going with some of my dearest friends to the coast for Erik's birthday but I plan on eating decent and going for long walks on the beach or at least around the area in order to get my exercise. I will be wearing a swimsuit for the first time in quite awhile and am a little nervous about that. Still not brave enough for a 2 piece but maybe by late summer I will be. I need to start tightening everything.
I have to say that as happy as I am about my overall results, I am even happier at the fact that I feel amazing! I am so happy that I have been able to accomplish this and I just feel so much better about myself. My confidence has really grown, I don't completely dread getting dressed anymore and I feel better about myself when I go out with my friends. I still have a long ways to go but I know I can do it and I can't thank you all enough for all of your support along the way and your words of encouragement. Love you all and stay tuned. May 22nd will be the day I report my 90 day challenge results...wish me luck!
